Well, this isn't about the game itself, really.

Sometime last week I happened to see a Super Smash Bros Brawl screenshot on the front page. I was disappointed to see that hardly anybody seemed to care much about the fact that the person didn't do any work at all to creat the "work of art". And they simply posted things like "lol" and things laughing at it.

I let it pass. But since then I've seen several more Super Smash Bros Brawl screenshots in the newest deviations. It's like if people thought that the appearance of a screenshot in the popular section negated the rule of only posting content made by yourself for a lot of people.
I think lots of people are doing it because they think they'll make the front page if they do.

It's not that way, Super Smash Bros screenshots are not art and are not permitted on deviantART. deviantART is not photobucket, it's not just a place to store pictures, it's a place to post artwork. I'm disappointed by a lot of the things here. People should work on their own creations. And if you're not a good artist, posting things that aren't yours isn't going to give you any more talent.

I'm disappointed with those who comment and favourite these pictures too, you're doing nearly as bad as they are by encouraging them to do it more.

I know I have pictures pending for the contest winners. I ask for patience, I haven't had much motivation to draw.
